For live classes, webinars and tutoring, yes — that is what it is built for. For general company meetings and phone dial-in, Zoom remains the better tool. Plenty of organizations run both.

Do my students need to install anything?

No. LiveClass runs in modern Chromium-based browsers, Safari and Firefox. Learners open a link and they are in the room — there is no desktop application to download.

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Starter plan is free with no credit card: one room, up to 25 attendees, sessions up to three hours, and 60 recording minutes a month.

Does LiveClass have SSO like Zoom does?

Not yet. SSO is in development. If single sign-on is a procurement requirement today, that is a genuine reason to stay where you are — talk to us about timing before you switch.
